What is Pioneer Day?

Pioneer Day is on July 24th 2010

It is the anniversary of the day when the first Mormon Pioneers
entered the Great Salt Lake Valley.
Members of the Church were persecuted for their beliefs and mobs
chased them from town to town and state to state until in 1847
the prophet Brigham Young led the people on a great exodus to
the West.
Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley said:
"Let us remember with gratitude and reverent respect those who have
gone before us, who paid so dear a price in laying the foundation for that
which we enjoy this day."
There is a live concert @ 7:30 Mt Standard

SO WHAT CAN WE DO TO HONOR THEM?

1. Pull our families together and read Family Histories.
2. Prepare a family name to take to the Temple.-
(If you need help call Sister Geren)
3. Write your own personal History....

DOUBLE your FUN....

During the Summer months the Play Group is held at the Church
at 10:30am on Tuesday and Thursday.

Your little ones will enjoy playing with their friends, and you can regroup your thoughts and enjoy visiting with Sisters who LOVE their little ones just as much as you do...
